  17. Hi please a liitle help.
I have bought a 10.1 Chinese tablet with MTK8389soc. I had rooted it, and had made using MTKdroid tools and SP Flash tools a full stock rom backup.
Till now all ok. I tried to backup and my data and cache ( a full system backup like TWRP and CWM does ) using MKTDroid tool but I can't. userdata and cache is not included.
The I tried to install a custom recovery using the " Easy Magic TWRP Installer for all MediaTek Devices ONLY " tool fron XDA without success.
As I had checked I have a secured bootloader.
My tablet in bootloader mode have fastboot menu ( it is working fine ) and a recovery menu, entering recovery I see only and android picture some chinese letters and nothing else ( there is no recovery )
My stock scatter file is https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/36622855/Flashtool.jpg as you see there is no recovery ( I think ).
Is there a way to add a recovery, or is there a way to make using MTKdroid tools a full working backup including everything?
I had read in past versions there was an option to include uderdata partition but these version is not compartible with the MTK8389 soc, and last versions has not this option.
Thank you in advance for you time

  19. Hi is there a way to install TWRP using MTK tools. I had installed CWM using your tudorial but when I try to make a backup it stops when it backups /data partition "Error while making a backup image of data!" In all my branded tablets phones I am using TWRP without any problems
    Thanks in advance

  20. Error in the procedure.
To enable the recovery full working you should answer "Yes" to patch boot.img.
It's a nonsense to answer "No" to patch boot.img.
If the boot.img s already patched MTKDroid skip it automatically.

  27. If you have root access and custom recovery (CWM or TWRP), just find a flashable keyboard and flash that thru recovery. That way you will have another keyboard app.
